For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the water and the creatures that call them home. My passion for trout started early—I spent my youth exploring wild streams and counting down to the trout opener with more excitement than Christmas morning. Now, with over 20 years of experience, the only thing I love more than landing trout myself is helping others experience that same thrill.

Chasing trophy browns in Pennsylvania’s waterways has been my passion for years, and I want to share that experience with you. While landing a 20” brown isn’t guaranteed every trip, modern techniques and years of experience make it a real possibility. Rod, reel and flies are provided! If you’re looking for a shot at a true trophy, let’s hit the water and make it happen!
Tactics
At 16, I discovered the advantages of Euro-nymphing and quickly realized the rewards that came with it. Today, more than 75% of my time on the water is spent fishing with some form of a tight-line leader. I have been able to adapt multiple styles of fishing to best suit the needs from a drift boat, and changing conditions on foot!
As a client you will spend some time fishing versatile leaders and patterns, I have developed over the years to hone in on some of the largest trout in PA’s larger waters. I pride myself on being one of the best guides to teach my clients how to successfully euro-nymph from a boat and on large waterways!
As a journeyman tool maker, I was raised on a tell, show, do, check method to learn my skills and trade. Now as a fly fishing guide, I have implemented a tell, show, do, catch method! It is always rewarding to see clients gain significant experience and knowledge each trip!
